Finishing study and thinking of a change of scene? How about beautiful New Zealand for a ‘working holiday’ or longer term?

New Zealand’s borders are reopening, and we are desperate for another Osteopath to join our team. We have an associate opportunity at our busy, supportive, multidisciplinary clinic with a great work-life balance in Hamilton (central North Island, NZ). We can assist with the immigration process and help you settle in when you arrive.

The population in NZ is highly aware of Osteopathy and as part of the health system (covering injuries) it is much more accessible to patients. Osteopaths can refer direct for imaging and to specialists, optimising patient care.

We operate out of a charming, 1920’s wood villa on the edge of Hamilton CBD, a thriving metropolitan hub on the banks of the Waikato River with peaceful walks and cycleways, a wide range of sports, hobbies and activities, complete with top bars and restaurants. The city has great transport links to Auckland, Tauranga, Rotorua and the Coromandel, providing a multitude of activities, walks and beaches to enjoy and only a 45-minute drive from the surf beaches of Raglan.

We can offer a busy patient list in a stable, permanent, full-time position (4-5 days per week), with no weekend work or late nights. We will pay your first year’s Annual Practicing Certificate and insurance and pay you 60% of patient/ ACC invoices paid with the option to be employed or self-employed.

Our clinic sees a variety of patients including mums & babies, office workers, tradies, sports enthusiasts and the elderly, if you specialise in any demographic, we can funnel these patients towards you.

There is minimal admin- our reception staff handle bookings, ACC & insurance claims and will assist you so you can focus on treating your patients. We use an excellent, well supported cloud-based practice management system that we will train you to use, and which stores all patient information.

We will support you as you start your career and schedule regular meetings to address all manner of things as they arise to help you be the best Osteopath you can be!
