2024 /25 course fees

FEES

Full-time degree  £9,250 per annum**

**For students who graduate  with a BOst the final year fee will be £4,625

The part-time fee is pro rata to the full time fee according to the number of credits taken.
  • 75 credits = £5,781 (not applicable to year 1 students from 2024-25)
  • 90 credits = £6,935
  • 120 credits = £9,250

Number of credits studied in each year by part-time students

  • In year 1 & 2: 75 credits – (all students)
  • In year 3: 90 credits – (all students)
  • In year 4 & 5: 120 credits (MOst) 90 credits (BOst)

 

* EU STUDENTS IMPORTANT INFORMATION

To be eligible to study as an EU student at the LSO you must have arrived in the UK before 1 January 2021 and applied for the EU Settlement Scheme to stay longer than 30 June 2021. Students arriving after this date will be classed as International Students and will not be eligible to study at the LSO as we do not hold an International licence. For more information about EU student status click here.

If you are an Irish national, these changes will not apply to you.

STUDENT LOANS

If you’re from the UK and you’re applying to university for the first time, you don’t have to pay for your course upfront. You can can get a Government loan to pay your tuition fees.

You can apply for a Tuition Fee Loan that’ll cover the cost of your course. Visit Student Finance England* to get started.

 

In addition to a loan to cover fees you may also be eligible to apply for a maintenance loan which helps cover living costs.

SELF FUNDING STUDENTS

Pay monthly

Students who are self-funding their fees can spread the cost of their fees over 6 monthly instalments starting 1st September at the start of the course.

 

Annual one off payment

Students who are self-funding and wish to pay up front in full at the start of the course will receive a discount on their annual course fees. Fees should be received in full by 1st September.

  • MOst Full time students receive a £300 discount
  • MOst Part time students receive  a £200 discount
