How to book
Bookings can be made over the telephone by calling 020 8983 7133 between 8am-8pm (Mon-Fri) and 8am-4pm (Sat). Closed for lunch from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
For all patients (whether or not they have been to the LSO clinic before) a new patient consultation will be required. This will be split into two parts:
1) a detailed health assessment via Telehealth (the patient is at home / work and the student is in the clinic)
2) face-2-face examination and treatment at the clinic.
When you telephone to book, both parts will be scheduled. Depending on availability (yours and ours) they may be on the same day, or on different days. To confirm the first part, you need to make payment in advance of your appointment. We will explain how to make payment at the time of booking. Once you have had the telehealth appointment, and if you wish to proceed to part 2, you need to call and pay for part 2 to confirm the booking.
Payment is required prior to your appointment
For all patients (whether or not they have previously been treated at the LSO clinic) their first appointment will be split into two parts. Part one will be a detailed health assessment taken remotely via Telehealth. If your practitioner feels it is appropriate then you will be offered an appointment in the clinic with a practitioner. Depending on availability this may happen the same day or shortly afterwards.
As we are a teaching clinic where treatments are undertaken by senior students we are unable to provide consultations through health insurance. If you wish to seek osteopathic care via health insurance you can locate registered osteopaths via the General Osteopathic Council website www.osteopathy.org.uk
